How do I get started?
Getting started is easy. First of all, you've already taken the biggest step of all, and that is making the choice of learning how to salsa dance.The next step is to register online for either our group or private lesson. Can I really learn to dance?
Yes. Dancing is as easy as walking once you are taught how by a Clave Rhythmz dance expert. We teach simple, basic elements, from which the steps are derived. Many dancers have been successfully trained by their expertise. There is no age limit. Our oldest students are over 45. The youngest are usually in their early teens.

How long will it take?
The length of your course will depend on how many dances you want to learn and how proficient you wish to become in each dance. However, you will be able to dance after your first lesson.

How much do lessons cost?
The price varies, depending on a number of factors e.g., how good you want to be, what dances you want to learn, and your dance schedule. In general, group lessons are $15/person/hour and private lessons are $60/person/hour.

Does the fee have to be paid in advance?
The price is generally paid at the studio before the lessons begin. Financing and other arrangements are also available.

Will I learn the latest steps?
You can learn the very latest steps in any social dance - Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Cha-Cha, and Bachata.

After I learn to dance, will I still have to return to learn the newest steps?
After getting a good foundation, you will be able to analyze the new steps and pick them up yourself without difficulty. However, many students return or continue because they enjoy their lessons and the dancing friends they've acquired.

When can I take lessons?
Private lessons are offered Monday - Friday (call or email to reserve)

Will I have a good teacher?
Yes. All Clave Rhythmz teachers have many years of technical training and dance background, making them very competent. Your teachers will be selected to best suit your particular needs and style of learning.
